Temtem developer announced a massive ban wave

| | No comments yet

Early access Pokemon-like MMO Temtem is battling through the rough waters that come with an online game release. The indie creature catching game overcame long login queues during its launch week. The next problem stepping onto the battlefield is a standard one for MMOs: cheaters and exploits. Crema said today that they’ve identified and banned 900 accounts that are “either a cheater or has abused exploits intentionally.”

Over a week ago, Temtem tweeted a friendly reminder that “using exploits, using bots or macros or using any kind of cheats/hacks,” can get you banned from the game. Naturally, some folks do it anyway. One such exploit seems to involve getting infinite Pansuns (Temtem’s in game currency) as reported by a user on Reddit. Crema say they’ve identified a chunk of cheaters, nearly 900 accounts, and have dished out permanent bans. Initially, Crema said that all bans would be final. By the way, you can buy cheap Temtem Pansun from 5mmo.com, where you can enjoy a 3% discount by using the code “5MMO”.

Temtem players were initially upset about the announcement — specifically, the language that it won’t review any ban appeals. With a ban wave as large as 900 players, it’s likely hard to assure that all of these are legitimate bans. That’s why people were relieved when, hours later, Crema repealed that initiative. Crema is asking players that want to appeal their bans to email its support team with “Ban appeal” in the subject.

“Initially, we were hesitant about instituting a ban appeal process as oftentimes hackers use it as a way to get more information to circumvent our anti-cheat,” a Crema rep told Polygon. “We only ban players that have been caught using cheats to exploit the game. Players will not get banned for running into bugs. It’s very easy for us to tell the difference.”

We’ll have a more in-depth look at the post-release state of Temtem, including the situation with cheaters and Crema’s efforts to stop them, coming soon.

Escape From Tarkov is classified as a tactical first-person shooter, but its survival gameplay mechanics go a long way. As we would love to describe the game, it’s a survival first-person tactical looter-shooter, set up in a war-torn zone called Tarkov. Tarkov has lots of forgotten and valuable remains, in which multiple factions are interested in taking. At this moment, players who are trying to set a foothold are usually victims of never-forgetting encounters, which at the end of the day prescribes Tarkov as an addictive drug.

Windows 10’s built-in volume control could get a significant overhaul

| | No comments yet

Way back in 2018, a leak revealed Windows 10’s built-in volume control could get a significant overhaul in a future release. For some reasons, Microsoft decided to delay Windows 10’s new volume controls but the feature could be making a comeback later this year.

In the codebase of Windows 10’s latest preview Build 19577, there are new code bits of the revamped volume controls, which suggests that Microsoft is still working on it and the idea hasn’t been cancelled yet.Right now, volume controls for Spotify, Groove Music or web browsers show up in the top left corner on Windows 10 when music is playing and users press the volume key. Windows 10’s volume flyout allows users to play, pause, or stop with multimedia keyboards and mouse.

One of the biggest changes will to the volume control menu, which is opened when you click the icon of the speaker in the right-hand side of Windows 10’s taskbar.Currently, this menu shows lets you change the overall system volume, as well as swap between output devices (such as switching between computer speakers and a headset). If you want to Buy Windows 10 Home Product Key, we z2u.com can give you a very low price, welcome to buy.

It looks like the new volume control menu will also feature multimedia playback controls, allowing you to play, pause and skip tracks when you’re playing music.Album artwork and information about the music you’re listening to will also be displayed, and it should work with most major media playing apps such as Spotify.

These are encouraging changes that will make using your Windows 10 PC for listening to music much more convenient. The volume controls are one of the major features of Windows 10 that Microsoft hasn’t changed for a long time, so it’s good to see the company hasn’t given up on overhauling them.

U.S. Hospital Workers Are Making Masks From Office Supplies Amid Equipment Shortage

| | No comments yet

Hospital workers in Washington state have been making protective medical gear out of office supplies and other run-of-the-mill materials as they deal with a severe shortage of equipment needed to care for patients who may have COVID-19.

To buy time, Providence infection control and quality experts designed prototype face-shields with off-the-shelf materials: marine-grade vinyl, industrial tape, foam and elastic. Monday night they bought supplies at craft stores and Home Depot. On Tuesday, about 20 administrative staff members at the health system’s corporate headquarters volunteered to work an assembly line in a large conference room, putting together 500 home-spun face shields that were going to a hospital in Seattle that night.

Providence plans to get more of the raw materials from wholesale suppliers and resume assembly later this week if it can’t get finished products. Another prototype facemask, made from a surgical wrap material that typically lines surgical trays, is still being tested to see if it meets quality standards. If you want to Buy N95 Mask, you can come to z2u.com for help. z2u.com is the best online store that has about 10 years of selling game currencies experience.

Authorities should have anticipated the shortfall, said Jennifer Bayersdorfer, Providence’s senior vice president for clinical quality. “I think that they’re behind the eight-ball on this and there was plenty of warning that this going to a problem,” she said.

The shortage of personal protective equipment, or PPE, at the Washington-based medical provider is occurring across the country, as hospitals and doctors scramble to treat thousands of patients who may be infected with the new coronavirus.

Now that cases are spreading around the country, so are the shortages. Interviews with ten emergency-room doctors and hospital managers around the country tell of colleagues and peers taking extensive measures to conserve fast-dwindling protective equipment, particularly the most potent N95 protective masks, as well as eye protection, gowns and gloves.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has released an update tweaking the drop rate for Bunny Day eggs

| | No comments yet

A light is appearing at the end of the bright, pastel tunnel for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players, as Nintendo has announced that it’s finally fixing its horrible Bunny Day egg problem. The seasonal Easter-themed event has been both a fun quarantine distraction and a cutely painted nightmare for the Animal Crossing playerbase, and this highly requested update is right on time.

Bunny Day has been an interesting experiment for future holiday updates in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, introducing a plethora of cute furniture and clothing items that can be crafted from painted eggs chopped from trees, fished from waters, and dropped out of the sky via balloon. If Animal Crossing: New Horizons got anything perfectly right on release, it was its masterfully tuned pace of gameplay, giving players just the right amount of shells, creatures, and trinkets to collect while going about their days. Since it was rolled out, players have been frustrated with how the Bunny Day event broke that balance by replacing almost every other fish with water eggs and raining down a tempestuous onslaught of noisy rainbow balloons bearing sky eggs and seasonal recipes. In addition, our site z2u.com has a large quantity of safe ACNH Bells For Sale.

A big part of the gameplay in Animal Crossing New Horizons is fishing and bug-catching. Right now, these tasks are more annoying than ever. You can spend hours running around your island fishing, and come away with 2 fish and 97 water eggs. The same goes for shooting down balloons, cutting down trees and digging up fossils. All of these activities now have a decent chance of spitting out eggs rather than what they’re supposed to provide you with.

Bear in mind, this event will be in Animal Crossing New Horizons for another 12 solid days. All the way until April 12th you’ll have to deal with eggs interrupting your fishing sessions. If that wasn’t bad enough you’ve also got to worry about that freaky rabbit guy popping up and scaring any younger players.

Nintendo probably didn’t intend for all Animal Crossing players to unite against an egg-burying bunny, but that’s essentially what has happened. Through our collective hatred of Zipper and Bunny Day, gamers everywhere have gained common ground and a better understanding of one another. Even though this period in time sucks for various reasons, at least we can all band together and say in solidarity: “screw that dead-eyed rabbit!”

Animal Crossing: New Horizons removed from Chinese platforms

| | No comments yet

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is no longer available for sale on Alibaba’s e-commerce platform Taobao, a move that comes not long after the game was used by Hong Kong activists to post protest messages against China. The hit Nintendo Switch game was pulled from Taobao and fellow digital store Pinduoduo, Reuters reported Friday. Screenshots shared by Taobao sellers showed that merchandise and other hardware related to the game have also been prohibited, according to Nintendo Life.

Nintendo launched console sales in China with tech giant Tencent in December, but players in China can only access multiplayer connections for games such as Animal Crossing via foreign editions available on the grey market via platforms such as Pinduoduo and Taobao.

However, since Joshua Wong’s Twitter post, searches for Animal Crossing: New Horizons have showed no results on Pinduoduo. On Alibaba’s Taobao, some vendors are trying to circumvent the crackdown by directing potential buyers towards listings that sell the game without using its title in the description. If you are in lack of Animal Crossing New Horizons Golden Tools, visit our site 5mmo.com, a reliable and cheap online in-game currency store.

Some Animal Crossing players in China have created scenarios that mirror the real world, with temperature check points and avatars wearing face masks.Joshua Wong has since shared pictures of his island showing portraits of Chinese President Xi Jinping and World Health Organization head Tedros Adhanom at a funeral simulation with a sign saying “Wuhan pneumonia”.

China censors content, including video games, if the government finds them in violation of the country’s core socialist values. However, it remains unclear if the ban on the sale of the game was ordered by China’s content regulator, or if it was a voluntary act by the digital stores. To circumvent the action against the game, some Taobao sellers have been trying to direct potential buyers to listings that sell the game without its title in the descriptions.

Call of Duty Mobile Developers Will Permanently Ban Cheaters from Game

| | No comments yet

In most instances, cheaters make online gaming an unpleasant experience for others, by giving the cheater major advantages over those who are playing fairly. Activision and Tencent are well aware of this, and have promised to take swift and lasting action against those who insist upon cheating in Call of Duty Mobile.

Speaking in a Call of Duty Mobile Reddit thread, a representative noted that, “If we see cheating we will enforce on it with our Security & Enforcement Policy in mind.” The policy is fairly strict, indicating that while most offenders will receive a one-time warning with a temporary suspension from the game, wracking up two offenses or committing a single offense which causes “detriment to other players or has organized large groups of players to commit additional offenses” will be permanently banned from the game. Their data will also be stripped from the leaderboards, ensuring that the Call of Duty Mobile leaderboard isn’t hijacked by outlandish scores.

The “Call of Duty Mobile” security and enforcement policy features a tiered offense system, where the severity of the offense is rated based on how it affects an individual gamer or the community as a whole. Punishment would depend on the severity of the offense. For instance, players caught using “third-party software to mod or hack their game” for the first time will already result to their temporary suspension. Players will be permanently suspended and removed from the leaderboards if they are caught again. If you want to Buy Top Up Call of Duty CP Coins, we z2u.com can give you a very low price, welcome to buy.

The “Call of Duty Mobile” team also offered a few tips on how to report suspected cheaters. Players reporting via social media must grab a suspected cheater’s UID and not the username as it can be changed.

Of course, developers will always have their work cut out for them to keep banned cheaters from finding ways to come back, but Call of Duty Mobile fans will gladly be pleased to know that the situation is being taken so seriously.

FlowPlay has launched the first of their planned virtual gaming worlds: ourWorld

| | No comments yet

FlowPlay, the company which we reported as having raised $3.7 million in funding back in February, has launched the first of their planned virtual gaming worlds: ourWorld. Targeted at the “tween” demographic of 8 to 12-year-olds, ourWorld is a casual gaming platform where kids can build two-dimensional avatars to navigate around a Flash-based world. Dean Takahashi of Venture Beat reports that for $6 a month a user can engage in MMORPG-style quests to achieve goals, play simple games, or even get a “job” so they can earn “flow” (the energy that runs ourWorld) towards winning spins on the prize wheel, giving them more things in the virtual environment. In addition, if you are in need of Cheap ourWorld Coins, you can visit our website z2u.com.

ourWorld is the first of a number of virtual worlds that FlowPlay plans to launch. FlowPlay was founded in 2006 by veterans from Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Real Networks and Classmates.com. The company has raised $3.7 million in funding from Intel Capital, Skype’s founders, and angel investors.

FlowPlay’s first virtual world is ourWorld, a place for tweens to gather in a Flash-based animated environment. They can create their own two-dimensional avatars, pick out clothes, and engage in activities like being a barista. As a barista, a kid can earn money to buy more goods in the world. The coffee part isn’t too thrilling. My 11-year-old gave it a whirl. You just walk up to a counter, put on an outfit, and then click a “make coffee” button. The coffee appears. That’s not particularly compelling game play and is reminiscent of the failed Sims Online from years ago. We played some of the games, including “Bubble Tanks” where you capture and shoot bubbles. Cute. ButI don’t think my kid can talk me into paying $6 a month for such simple games. So much else is free on the web. And if you want to buy ourWorld Items, visit z2u.com, a professional online in-game currency store.

The world launched its public beta on April 1. The world has dozens of casual games and activities that encourage collaboration, including missions that can be accomplished together for rewards. It has chat, shopping, video watching, and content creation. The latter includes a technology that allows kids to create their own custom objects which they can sell or trade to gain Flow, a form of virtual currency. The world has multiple towns with different themes, like The Pier or The Boardwalk.

The market for virtual worlds is growing, and reports estimate that by 2011, people will be spending $13 billion annually on online gaming. The question here is if parents of tweens are willing to shell out a monthly subscription cost when places such as Second Life, which does have a teen-friendly area, can be played for free at the basic level. While advertising may annoy some people online, if it makes “free” ways to entertain you kids, parents are likely to take it. Only time will tell if the subscription model is really a sustainable one. Stay tuned to z2u.com and we will be the first one to inform you all the latest. Besides, our website also offer Cheap ourWorld Accounts for players.

Aion: The Tower of Eternity moves to shareware distribution model

| | No comments yet

Aion: The Tower of Eternity is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released by NCSOFT. The game combines PvP and PvE (a concept the developers call PvPvE) in a fantasy game environment. In the game, up to six players may form a group, to assist one another in battle, and share the benefits of victory. Certain areas are designed for group play and a group is required to enter some areas in the game. Up to four groups may form an Alliance for situations that call for greater force of numbers. Eight Alliances may combine to form a League, allowing for a total of 192 players participating in a given activity. If you want to know where is the safest place to buy Aion (EU) kinah, I think z2u.com is your best choice, after all, the site has been officially certified,so it’s very safe.

In the ranks of shareware projects is another replenishment. The other day, NCSoft announced its decision to change the format of the once popular and, as a result, financially successful MMROPG called Aion: The Tower of Eternity with a mandatory monthly free-to-play subscription. With our best and cheapest Aion (EU) Accounts, get yourself with powerful items, pets and equipment, become the key player in each mission.

According to the publisher, the transition of Aion: The Tower of Eternity, which was launched in September 2009, to a shareware distribution model is part of a partnership agreement between NCSoft and Gameforge. The latter, as far as we know, will assume the responsibility for servicing the project in Europe. Thirty-eight company employees will be involved in the game. If you want to know the safest way to buy Aion (EU) Items, I recommend you buy it via z2u.com, the site has been officially certified,so it’s very safe.

But this, as it turned out, is far from the main reason why the publisher decided to change the format of Aion: The Tower of Eternity. “In the past few months, the land of Atrea has noticeably become empty,” reads the publisher’s official appeal to gamers, published on the game’s official website. – In order for the Aion world to come to life, we need to attract the attention of new users to the project. “Young adventurers will fill the cities with themselves, and the Daevas will be able to spread their wings again and fly high into the sky.”

Aion: The Tower of Eternity will lose its “elitism” in February next year. It will be hard to say what the decision of the company “Innova Systems”, responsible for the Russian-language version of the project will be. Most likely, domestic game servers will follow the example of their “colleagues” from Europe. If you are in lack of Aion (EU) Boosting, visit our site z2u.com, a reliable and cheap online in-game currency store.
