EGol announced on Friday the start date and format of the next phase of the PES 2021 eFootball tournament. In the greatest American football style, seven Brazilian football clubs take turns during 3 rounds of choices to assemble the rosters through a list of 14 players available. Flamengo eSports, Corinthians e-Football, São Paulo eSports, e-Galo, Vasco eSports, SC Internacional and Santos e-Sports participate in the Draft. The order of choice will be based on the classification of the Brasileirão 2020 on the 3rd of February.
And just like in the Brazilian Football Championship, eGOL PRO will have a first phase in the form of running points, with round-trip confrontations, totaling 14 rounds in 7 weeks of competition. In addition, the games will have three players from Team A versus three players from Team B, in the 3 × 3 format.
After the points scored, the four best clubs in the points phase advance to the playoffs, starting from the semifinals. The playoffs will be played in the MD5 format, with the first two games being played in the 3 × 3 format, but from the third game onwards the King of the Table format will become valid.
Understand the “King of the Table”
From the third game of MD5, each club will have to choose only one player to represent the team on the stage. At the end of the confrontation, whoever loses gives control to a teammate, while winning, remains on the stage and awaits the replacement of the opponent.
The group stage of the eGol Pro starts on March 22 and will last for seven weeks, with the last round scheduled to take place on April 4.
